Gujranwala has seen the construction and development of many key initiatives in recent years. To continue with the streak the Punjab Cabinet has revealed four more key projects.
The recent meeting of the cabinet termed the 32nd Punjab Cabinet meeting took place under the supervision of Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi. In the meeting, the cabinet announced four more key initiatives for the city.
These projects include a vegetable market establishment. They also include a Guwala Colony and the construction of 24 additional classrooms for DPS Gujranwala. The fourth project that is approved by the government is the formation of two model graveyards. There is also a Punjab University campus under talks for Daska.
These projects will be under the command of Gujranwala Division Commissioner Naveed Haider Shirazi. He provided an overview of all the public projects undergoing in the city.
The key decisions of the meeting included setting the minimum support price of wheat. This price is set at PKR 4000 per maund. This step was taken to alleviate the burden on the farmers.
The meeting also included an overview of the two-way road connecting Gujranwala with the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway. The Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi extended his support to the diligent workers.
