Rawalpindi Ring Road will have five interchanges

Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) is a 38.3-kilometer-long stretch of road that is marked as a high-priority project of development in the city of Rawalpindi.

The road will tackle the road traffic problems prevailing in the city, along with providing a good locality to the community.

Recently Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha has been briefed about the Ring Road project. He visited the Khasaleha Khurd to assess the completion of the project. The assessment was made on October 9. The Commissioner, after the briefing, has revealed that there will be five interchanges in the project.

He was informed about them in the briefing. The interchanges will be in Banth, Chak Beli Khan, Adiala Road, Chakri Road, and Thalian. The project is an immense one and has several milestones included in its construction.

The project will also include five flyovers, a railway bridge, and a total of 21 small underpasses.

Ring Road is being constructed to improve the infrastructure in the city. Along with this, the project will also tackle the transportation and traffic concerns in the city.

Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha has expressed optimism regarding the project. It is moving along at a fast pace and it seems that it will be completed within the schedule.
