NAB Successfully Recovers Rs. 600 Million from Housing Society

On Monday, NAB deputy chairman Shohail Nasir mentioned that they recovered Rs600 million from Arain City Housing Society & cheques distributed among 4O people in the first phase. He shared this news at an event in Fatehjang.

NAB Rawalpindi Director General Mirza Irfan Baig & others were also present. Sohail Nasir emphasized NAB’s duty to return the stolen amount. He also advised people to check the legal status of housing societies before investing.

He also noted that NAB’s chairman distributed Rs2.8 billion in Lahore & recovered Rs16 billion from fake housing societies.

The head of NAB Rawalpindi mentioned that they got 446 applications from Arain City victims. They started work in June of 2021.

The NAB investigation team worked hard and the payment return process has begun. He said that corruption is a big issue that’s affecting our society.

He also mentioned that 77,000 have been resolved & 821 people have been arrested. The deputy chairman gave a thank you shield to Benish Javed, the investigator for the Arain City Housing Scheme.
