The Pakistani Actor Faisal Qureshi is one of the biggest stars in Pakistani media. Known for his passionate acting skills, the actor first gained recognition for his role in Boota from Toba Tek Singh.
His career took off after that, and for the past two decades, he has won several accolades for his star roles. He has garnered more than 20 important awards. Some of his famous dramas include Fitoor, Bashar Momin, Muqaddar, and Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan.
Recently, the actor appeared in a candid interview with Frieha Altaf. One of the questions was about his plans for breaking into the Bollywood industry.
He expressed his reservations about this. He said that he was not planning on working with Bollywood any time soon. He shed some light on the attitudes prevailing towards the Pakistani actors.
Professionalism is all a matter of respect, and Faisal Qureshi reveals that the Indian media does not respect Pakistani actors.
You have to disrespect your own country for getting a chance to appear in their films. ‘Gali deni parti ha’ he revealed in the interview.
According to him, the film will only be a hit if Pakistan is disrespected. Due to these reservations, he doesn’t want to work in Bollywood. There is always anti-Pakistani Propaganda in the films.
