Gondrani also known as “the city of caves” or “Gharon Ka Shehr” in Urdu present in Balochistan is included in one of the ancient places. These caves are manmade and were made in old times by the Buddhists. These caves actually were the meditation places where they worship.

1500 caves were present there which with the period of time remain 500 only due to erosion and some other natural disasters. You guys are surprised to know that these caves are made so flawlessly such that each one has connections between them.

If you witnessed the spot you will see that shelves are made where they placed their lamps and other stuff. Moreover lying beside the Kurd River, this place is considered as one of the most beautiful historical places.

This fantastic spot is located in Lasbela a town of Balochistan. It is positioned 18 kilometers northwest of Lesbela. If you guys are coming from Karachi, it will hardly take 3 hours of yours to reach here.

While having a trip towards Gondrani there are a few things that everyone must keep in their minds before going there. These are;

  • Firstly if you are planning a visit to Gondrani, you should go there by daytime because as the sun sets the surrounding areas become darker and it becomes difficult for tourists to explore the spot without proper lighting.
  • Secondly, you should bring a physical map if you are visiting any area of Balochistan.
  • Weather there is a little tricky so it’s better to take extra water bottles.
  • Becoming one of the attractive places among tourists, the government has taken steps to provide basic facilities for the tourists but it’s better to bring your own food and drinks.
