ICCI to focus on infrastructure before the CDA plot auctions

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has been planning on plotting auctions in the coming winter months. Before the auction commences, CDA should focus on the infrastructure.

The auction is a three-day process, from October 17 to October 20. It is to be held at the Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad.

The auction includes both commercial and residential plots. It even includes shopping centers and farmhouses.  The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has brought CDA’s attention to the developmental process and the crumbling infrastructure in the city.

According to a report on October 17, the development authority has stressed that fixing the infrastructure is very important. The development of the Capital is important for calling in new potential investors.

The details of the plot auction by CDA have recently been shared with the business community. CDA Building and Housing Control Director General Faisla Naeem Baig along with his team were responsible for sharing the details.

While the auction details were being discussed, the ICCI acting president Faad Waheed brought forward this point. He stressed the development of essential infrastructure so that the communities have the proper amenities for their lives.

He also highlighted all the problems faced by the investors. The challenges faced by them due to the absence of infrastructure.
