Illegal Projects Stay Away: RDA tells firms to stop marketing illegal housing societies

The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has ordered marketing firms to stop advertising unlawful housing plans.

According to an RDA representative, the agency has filed notices against multiple marketing businesses, requiring them to stop advertising unlawful housing developments.

The spokesperson said that illicit housing schemes use YouTube channels and other platforms to publicize their unlawful enterprises.

Unapproved housing societies across Rawalpindi have been spurring up for quite some time, and these companies use marketing firms, especially YouTube, to advertise and lure the general public.

Amidst this, the RDA has issued a notice for the marketing firms to stop promoting any illegal housing projects.
