RDA issued notices to owners of four illegal housing schemes
RDA spokesperson issued a warning to the sponsors to immediately halt the marketing of the illegal housing schemes.
At the instructions of RDA Director General Saif Anwar Jappa, a notice was served to the owners of the illegal scheme of housing, that is, High Life City, a project of SSJ Marketing and Property Adviser at Mouza Niko, Wah Hills at Mouza Ghari Afghana in Taxila and Amman Scheme at Mouza Rajar on Chakri Road.
He already directed the RDA branch to take action against such unlawful adverts and FIRs against the illegal owners of the housing scheme.
He also added that the illegal housing schemes must stop the marketing of the unapproved/illegal housing schemes or they will face consequences for this illegal act. The public was advised too, to not take any part in investing in illegal housing schemes.
He stated that these owners & the sponsors of fraudulent housing ventilated the advertisement they used, hence, deceiving the public. Concerning this, the planning wing has demanded for the Cyber Crime wing of FIA to file charges against the false advertisements made by the illicit housing schemes to protect people from falling for such scams.
The owners of illegal housing schemes who committed the mentioned offenses are also considered cognizable under rule 37 of the Punjab Development Authorities Private Housing Schemes Rules 2021.
