Five members of ‘BTS’ were nominated for Album of the Year in this year’s Grammys
The beloved K-pop group BTS is known worldwide for their trendy music and looks. For the past year, they’ve been on a temporary hiatus. The eldest members of the groups have enlisted for their mandatory military enlistment.
The group is known for winning multiple accolades over the years in the biggest award shows in the world. The category of ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’ are the most prestigious categories of the Grammy Awards. Five of the seven members are nominated for the ‘Album of the Year’ award. It is a category in the 6th Annual Grammy Awards.
The BTS leader RM’s new album ‘Indigo’ was released in December 2022. Due to its release date, it was comfortably placed in the Grammy’s eligibility window.
It reached 3 on the Billboard 200. Jimin made his solo debut with the EP ‘Face.’ It included a chart-topping single ‘Like Crazy.’ It charted at no. 2 on the Billboard 200.
The song gained critical acclaim. In August J-Hope revisited his original album ‘Jack in the Box.’ V made his solo debut with the EP Layover. RM, Jimin, V, J-Hope, and Suga are all nominated for this award.
