For children, affectionate rejection may have devastating consequences such as emotions to thrive, developmental delay, restlessness, aggression, pessimism, poor self-assurance, leaving home, drug abuse, and a slew of other serious concerns. These children believe they are hated and unwanted.
What are the ways childhood neglect impacts adult attachment style?
