India’s BJP is targeting Muslim history

India is a state where Hindus are in majority and the Muslim community is 14%, which is a minority, of the state.

Recently, there was this viral video in which a primary school teacher asked the whole class to slap one of his students just because he was an Indian Muslim.

She gave this argument that he wasn’t done with his homework which was the reason for doing so but this was certainly not the actual case.

India is a state where the rights of Muslims are not protected and after the Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP, of Narendra Modi it is observed that the secular status of India is not going to make it long,

The BJP sounds like a threat to the Muslim minorities in India. This party wants the secular status of India to be gone, making it obvious that they want no minorities in their state. Under such circumstances, the Muslims are unable to practice their religion.

Hindu extremists and the Muslim’s history

In the past times, there was a debate on having a separate state for the Muslims because though they were in many ways similar to the Hindus, yet, the extremist Hindus made it hard for the Muslims to practice their religion openly.

Hindus would not let them sacrifice cows because that was, in their eyes, their god and many more hurdles were faced by the Indian Muslims.

To sum it all up, India’s BJP is targeting Muslim history in many ways. Many international human rights organizations are trying to convince

Modi to let them live because some argue that Modi is trying to make a negative impact on the minds of Hindus by changing Muslim history and trying the rhetorical approach to impress his audience, to attain his goal of having India with no secular status, very strategically.
