Khaplu: A must-visit place

In contemporary times, everyone is busy doing their work. This machinery world has made our lives much more complex than before. Everyone wants to take a break and enjoy that breakthrough in tourism. Since living in Pakistan, northern areas are the best place for tourism.

Today I am going to talk about a place that is a captivating city and is the administrative capital of Ghanche District in Gilgit Baltistan. This city is almost 103km east of Skardu. The name of the city is Khaplu also known as Khapalu.

While talking about Khaplu, we came to know that this is an ancient city that has many historical links and backgrounds. In the late 14th century, a famous scholar named Syed Ali Hamdni arrived there and started addressing local people about Islam.

During the 17th and 18th centuries, its importance increased due to its political and familial ties with the royal family of the neighboring Ladakh region.

This city is surrounded by the Karakoram mountain range and many water places are there. Due to the nature of the land, visitors can enjoy thrilling outdoor activities and funs like rock climbing. This can be a good spot for those who are fond of nature photography as well as for those who are travelers or enjoy traveling.
