All voices matter
After October 7 the Israeli government and IDF have been relentless in their attacks on the Palestinians. Their inhumane acts have caused a global uproar with all of the human rights campaigns coming forward to demand a ceasefire. People have shown support for the innocent people of Gaza.
Their plight of 75 years has been on everyone’s tongue this past month. Even after the public outrage, the Israeli government continues to deny their war crimes.
The Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu recently called innocent Palestinian lives ‘collateral damage’ in this genocide.
This statement was followed by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk’s statement on war crimes. He said that the only way to end this was to end the Israeli occupation and give the Palestinians the right to self-determination.
Netanyahu dismissed these concerns and called them ‘hogwash.’
Hollywood star Mark Ruffalo condemned the words of Netanyahu for referring to Palestinians as collateral damage.

He expressed his grief and outrage on the app ‘x’ stressing that Palestinians mattered. He said that they are human beings, not roads and buildings. They need compassion. He condemned the Israeli government’s mass destruction of their community.
