All voices matter
We all need a break from our hectic lifestyle once in a while and this time as a travel enthusiast, I explored the beauty of Kashmir even more.
So if you are pondering upon the place that should be your next destination as a trip, then hold tight amigos, because Ganga Choti is the place of discussion today. So let’s dig deep into my trip to Ganga Choti!
Ganga Choti is located in the heart of Kashmir, more accurately, in the Bagh District of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. The most mesmerizing thing for me is the height of Ganga Choti which is at an altitude of 9,990 feet. You have to hike for around 4 hours to get there but I must say the view you get is worth all the hike.
Well, it is not an easy task to say all about Ganga Choti, also known as Ganga Peak, in one go but let’s try. So hold your horses and stay tuned because we are going to discuss what attracted me the most on my trip to Ganga Choti:
If you love winters just like I do, then pack your shawls and hoodies because if you are tripping there after June, then you are going to need them. It is summer from April till June but the summers are also, mesmerizing at Ganga Choti.
I am an extreme lover of hiking and I’ve been to many trails but my experience while hiking to Ganga Choti is no less than the perfect peaceful hike I’ve ever had.
Although it takes hours to get to your destination, on my way to Ganga Choti I explored many other beautiful sceneries like Sudhan Gali and Goratha Lake, the waterfalls on my way, where we did a little bit of swimming. I mean what a trip!
Again, I am crazy about snowfalls as well. The first ever snowfall experience I had was on my trip to Ganga Choti. I still remember the peak covered with snow and looking like heaven on earth.
Yet, I will recommend visiting the Ganga peak in the months of June till September because after that the snow can be pretty dangerous for those who are not used to it.
All in all, my trip to Ganga Choti was nothing less than a peaceful adventure. And if you want to explore more about Kashmir then Ganga Peak should be your next go-to place.
The camping in the breathtaking view was something I had been craving for for months and there I found it. So what are you waiting for? Go and grab your bags because nature’s beauty is waiting for you.
