Punjab Chief Minister takes notice of the recent developments in ongoing projects
According to a news source published on October 23, the Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi has recently been concerned with the development of many ongoing projects in the province.
He is mainly concerned with the Akbar Chowk Flyovers and the motorway projects.
Not only is he concerned with the construction, but he is taking an active interest in the inspection of the progress. The Chief Minister drove through the flyover to inspect the project.
He had words with the construction workers and the developmental heads of the project. This inspection was to ensure that the project is proceeding on a timely basis and is progressing as planned by the government.
Mohsin Naqvi stressed the early completion of the projects. These are for the convenience of the public and should be inaugurated as early as possible.
He also stressed the need to speed up the asphalt work on the bridge. He has also urged the team to proceed urgently with the flyover. He has also announced that the flyover will be open to the public in mid-November.
The CM also inspected the dual road linking Gujranwala with Lahore-Sialkot Motorway. He has set a deadline of December 25th for its inauguration.
