Remodeling of major Faisalabad roads approved
The infrastructure of Faisalabad has been seeing ruin over the past many years. The roads incredibly have been disregarded and zero repairs have taken place in the past couple of years for any major road.
The Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Raza Naqvi has taken notice of this situation.
According to a news source published on October 19, the Chief Minister has formally approved the repairs. The repairs would include the rebuilding, remodeling, and maintenance of four major roads in Faisalabad.
These major roads to be repaired include Samundri Road, Jhang Road, and Sargodha Road. The Commissioner held a meeting in the Commissioner complex in Faisalabad.
The proceedings of the meeting were chaired by the Chief Minister. He asked for a comprehensive plan to be made for the repairs. The duty was assigned to Faisalabad’s Commissioner Madam Silwat Saeed.
He touched on the importance of making haste. The CM wants the work to start and not suffer any unnecessary delays.
The Chief Minister has also released the funds allocated for the repair and maintenance.
Several important officers attended the meeting, including Caretaker Provincial Minister for Information Amir Mir. Chairman of the Planning and Development Board also appeared. Other key members of the government were also present.
