The release of funds for the projects for the infrastructure is being stressed by the Construction Association of Pakistan (CAP) and the Karachi Constructors Association (KCA).
They are asking for the release of funds to complete the construction schemes and infrastructure repair in the Sindh Capital. The projects are already underway, according to a news source on October 3rd, and require funding as soon as possible.
The construction associations have revealed that the projects cannot continue without financial support. The release of the funds is necessary to complete the projects at their specified times. The time frame will be extended by several months if the funds are not given appropriately.
The Karachi Constructors Association (KCA) Vice Chairman Naseem Kazmi reveals that even after their repeated requests the funds are not being released by the government. The contractors are unable to finish their designated infrastructure repair and building projects according to the previously designated schedule.
Naseem Kazmi also revealed that the Karachi Constructors Association and the Construction Association of Pakistan held a seminar last week.
The objective of conducting this seminar was to discuss the construction hassles in the city due to the economic crisis.
