The OTT channel Tamasha airs ‘Bashu’ depicting a police officer’s quest for his wife
The OTT’s new comedy starring Yashma Gill, John Rambo, and Shah Tipu depicts a police officer and his life struggles. The comedy will air as a six-episode series.
The drama centers around an unmarried policeman in his thirties and his quest for love. His department recently started providing a marital allowance which spurred his decision to find a wife, and consequently some romance in his monotone life.
The heroine is seemingly depicted as a thief in the trailer. Rambo is Tipu’s long-time friend and hatches a scheme to make him fall in love. This is to make it easier for him to get the allowance but in the process, Tipu falls in love with Gill. This leads to a hilarious turn of unfortunate events.
The drama airs on the Tamasha app every Friday at 9 p.m. The first two episodes were released on August 11th and are a mirthful delight for the audience.
Asim Azhar’s drama ‘Family Bizniss’ was the first show to air on the Tamasha app. The show starred Mah-e-Nur Haider, Saife Hasan, Salma Hassan, and Bushra Habib. The app has been successful in its choice of comedy series, and most of its viewers have enjoyed its selection.
