If you are fond of sweets and desserts then you are lucky to read this paper because I am going to tell you, Yes you, my little sweet story about Gulab Jamun. I love sugary food and as a Pakistani, I have been fond of gulab jamun ever since I ate it for the first time.

I still remember my first bite. It was when I was a kid and my mom offered me a dark brown round-shaped softball and I the minute hold that felt like this was something delicious.

Origin of Gulab Jamun

Now for those who are not familiar with the name, gulab jamun is an Indian dessert that they have at every function from weddings to other happy moments of their lives for example on the result days of their children.

“Luqmat ul-qadi” is the original name for gulab jamun originated from Persia. After India, this famous dessert is now popular in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Pakistan.

As it is a famous dessert, there are different types of names for gulab jamun in different states and some of them are given below:

Middle East

The name for Gulab Jamun in the Middle East is “Zalabia”.

Nepal

In Nepal, there is a very interesting name for Gulab Jamun which is “Lal Mohan”.

Bangladesh

“Pantua” is the name used for this tasty dessert in Bangladesh. This shows how much it is famous and loved by many different states of our world.

Conclusion

I am fond of gulab jamun to be honest because the sweet mixture of saffron and milk solid every time makes my mouth even more watery than before.
