What you need to know about auctioned plots in Lahore?

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is concerned with maintaining the property and development of the Punjab Capital Lahore.

The authority conducts several auctions every year concerning the most popular living societies in the city.

They have recently conducted another successful auction this Wednesday, October 4th. According to a news report published on October 5th, the auction has fetched a total of PKR 103.9 million for the sake of nine plots of land.

Additional Director General Imran Ali, Director Finance Kashif Imran, Director Housing Ten Ali Bin Sohail, Director Avenue One Rehan Athar, Director Private Housing Schemes Mahmood Ahmed, and Director Housing Shahbaz ul Haq Ghurki, among other officials, are members of the LDA auction committee. The auction was conducted under their supervision.

The first of the auction plots is a Marquee site spanning six canals in Jubilee Town. It was leased for annual fees of PKR 13.5 million.

Another site was leased for PKR 8.8 million annually. It is an 11 canal, 5 marla site in Gulshan Ravi Civic Centre. Other plots included Sabzazar, Tajpura, and three in Quaid-e-Azam Town. Their residential plots sold for a whopping price of several million.
