All voices matter
I remember my first-ever trip to Tharparkar and it was actually because I was exhausted from my daily hectic 9 to 5 job and technological routine.
So we were talking about how stressed I was and she reminded me that we must take good care of ourselves, because nobody else is going to do that, by taking some time out for our body and well-being.
So my friend suggested I go on a trip to this place called Tharparkar. Her exact words about this place were that if I want to recharge then Tharpakar is the best place because it will expose me to village life, nature, and mesmerizing desert views.
Sindh is the province of Pakistan where you can find this beautiful place, Tharparkar, the largest in the province where the majority of the population is Hindu. The former name of Tharparkar was Thar but that was before India’s partition.
Although, the weather is a little harsh, yet, the mesmerizing view makes it bearable for you. There is a desert and it is in the north-western Indian subcontinent. The beautiful view in front of you of a desert and the colorful rocks in some places leave you in awe.
One of the best things that I found about Tharparkar was its rich and diverse culture. From their unique way of dance to their mid-blowing handmade crafts, watching all of that was some sort of therapy for me.
All in all, I gave myself time by exposing myself to the natural beauty and natural lifestyle of Tharparkar. The people of Tharparkar were extremely welcoming and some of the little girls were even stopping me to not going and staying a little longer with them.
I would personally recommend to those who are just done with their pathetic routine, that take a little time out for Tharparar and you won’t be disappointed.
