Sukoon: Pakistan’s pop duo clarifies the original intent behind the music video

Sukoon is a recent music video by Pakistan’s pop duo Hassan and Roshan. The music video recently made waves because of the assumed LQBTQ+ content in it.

The original song includes Shae Gill in its making. The song is about finding peace in solitude and being peaceful in your silence. The music is a hit, garnering about 11 million streams on Spotify.

However, it could not escape the policing of the moral brigade. They thought that the music video was highly inappropriate.

Some viewers thought that it supported the LGBTQ agenda by showing lesbian undertones. The music video was directed by Saad Yratta. It was produced by Nael Hafeez and Suman Ayoub Yratta.

The song’s name describes its intent. It is supposed to be a song for solitude, longing, and peace. The track gives melancholic undertones. It involved a nuanced sense of prettiness that is portrayed by the goldfish. The goldfish is portrayed by the model Altish Yousaf.

Amongst the outrage for its presumably inappropriate content, the pop duo came forward to explain what it meant. They said that the music video does not contain any LQBTQ+ nuances. However, people are free to interpret it however they may like.
