Support Desks for Overseas Pakistanis inaugurated by CDA
Jawad Sohrab Malik, Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM), has initiated Support desks for overseas Pakistanis inside the premises of the Islamabad Capital Territory Organization (ICT) workplaces and at the One Window facility of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad.
It was reported by a news source on September 26, 2023.
According to the news, this initiative aims at improving the support for overseas Pakistanis and tending to their interests.
Cooperative conversations between Special Assistant Malik and the CDA Executive have taken place. It resulted in the inauguration of these support desks this Monday.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Jawad Malik commended the relevant divisions for accomplishing this considerable achievement. He applauded them on the public authority’s steadfast obligation to shield the privileges and interests of non-occupant Pakistanis.
The Help Work area at CDA will offer many different types of assistance including home administration, building control, land and restoration matters, and income-related issues. Moreover, an assigned data official will be accessible to offer procedural direction.
The ICT team will also provide access to International Driving Permits, arms licenses, and domicile. These desks will remain available round-the-clock for seamless help to the people. The support desks offer support through various channels such as WhatsApp landlines and others.
