Uffff, Inflation Can Stay Longer in Pakistan
Over a period of time, an excessive rate of inflation is recorded in Pakistan. This is due to the fact that International Oil prices are on the rise and in spite of this Pakistan has promised International Monetary Fund to keep increasing the petroleum development levy.
Inflation has hit different sectors and the rising trend in domestic energy prices is expected at least through March 2024 when the IMF nine-month Standby agreement will end.
Moreover, the major cause of inflation is political uncertainty and the solution depends upon the elections if they will hold on time or not and what are the upcoming circumstances and environment, whether they decrease the rate of inflation or the situation will remain the same or gets even worst?
While talking about food inflammation, has remained above 40% in urban areas and about 41.3% to 50% in rural areas. These figures indicate that a large number of individuals faced hunger and difficulty in getting food. In addition to this, the increase in fuel, oil, and energy prices has affected food inflation.
The reason behind this is that transportation plays a major role in providing food to the people which due to high fuel prices is now not affordable.
In fact, every country faces inflation and other problems and overcomes these difficulties with their efficiencies. We are facing such problems such days and it’s over duty to solve these problems and to and our country free of curse. In this regard, the major role should be played by the government and by the individuals as well.
