Why Pakistan isn’t using enough solar energy?
Pakistan is a state where you can enjoy 4 diverse seasons but the fun fact is that in all the seasons’ sunlight is constant.
Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, is especially beautiful in all the seasons. However, with time because of global warming and, many other reasons the weather is becoming hotter.
Yet, a question arises as to why Pakistan isn’t using enough solar energy. To answer this query today we will find out the reasons.
Energy policy
One of the biggest reasons is the energy policy of Pakistan due to which Pakistan is resilient to solar energy usage.
Though there are numerous advantages to the economy of Pakistan if it uses solar panels instead of the conventional way, for that Pakistan would need funding and investing in solar panel systems which is not quite a chance for Pakistan currently because it is not doing well economically.
Solar energy and Pakistan’s economy
Pakistan is a poor state and to imply the solar panels, the budget that the state of Pakistan would need is quite a high cost.
No doubt once it starts working, it will be the game changer. Incentives and rational decision-making can work towards a successful future for Pakistan and will help it decrease its dependence on fossil fuels.
Conclusion
All in all, the cost of the solar panels and starting a whole new system will cost Pakistan more than enough yet the advantages that can undo the disadvantages are far too high.
As a rational and pragmatic citizen of Pakistan, I believe that the state of Pakistan needs to do a cost-benefit analysis here and invest in solar energy and make sunlight one of its biggest strengths.
Lastly, Pakistan does not use much of its solar energy but today’s generation is aware of utilizing natural resources hence, there is hope for a better future.
